Build a page step by step

Each tutorial here builds one complete page type with DXPR Builder, with a video that shows every click. You end with a finished page that you fill with your own words and photos. Find your goal in the table and open the tutorial next to it.

Which should I use

Pick the tutorial whose page is closest to yours, even when your subject differs. A council can follow the event page for a public meeting, and a school the services page for its programmes.

Some tutorials build parts that fit into other pages. The hero section opens almost any page. The pricing table and the form fit inside a product or landing page. The columns and SEO tutorials teach habits for every page you build.

Before you start

  • Your role has the Edit with DXPR Builder permission.
  • You start from an empty page: go to Content > Add content > Landing Page (/node/add/landing_page), type a title and click Save.
  • New elements land at the top of their section or column. Each tutorial adds them in an order that accounts for this.

Save your creations

After you build a section you like, save it as a template to reuse it:

  1. Hover the section, click More, then Save as template.
  2. In the Save as Template dialog, type the Template name.
  3. Tick Global template so every editor gets it, or leave it unticked to keep it private.
  4. Click Save.

See User templates for details.
