Make pages accessible and findable
Publish pages that screen readers and search engines can both use. You add most of what they need while you build: alt text, heading order and colour contrast.
| I want to ... | Use | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| check that my pages work with screen readers and keyboards | Make your pages accessible | Nothing extra |
| help search engines understand and rank my pages | Help search engines find your pages | Nothing extra |
Which should I use
Both pages share the basics: headings in order and alt text on every image. Start with accessibility; most of its fixes help search engines too. Then read the SEO page for metadata and page structure.
