Sites preview¶
Lets a site's people view the site from the hub at /preview/{site}, with
the site's theme, blocks, menus, settings and URL aliases:
/preview/hydrion/contact shows Hydrion's page /contact. Content opened on
the hub shows in the preview of its origin site. A disabled site opens there
for its own people, so Velmora can be checked before it goes live while its
hostname stays closed. With the core Navigation module, the top bar offers
Preview as… on content pages and switches a preview between the sites
that show the page.
Install¶
Ships with Sites; with that project in the codebase:
drush en sites_preview
Requires Sites.
Configure¶
Nothing to configure: once enabled, every path below /preview/{site} on the
hub previews that site for its members, the holders of a role on it and users
with Administer sites. Anonymous visitors never preview
(Preview).
