Sites menu

Lets each site keep its own links in a shared menu like the main navigation: Hydrion's main navigation links About Hydrion, the X5 page and Contact, Valtora's links About Valtora, Careers and the group's press release. A site can give the menu its own label, and a site that inherits the menu shows the links of the site it inherits from, like Hydrion UK with Hydrion's main navigation. A menu without site versions shows the same links on every site. Installing Sites content installs it.

Install

Ships with Sites; with that project in the codebase:

drush en sites_menu

Requires Sites, menu_link_content (core), menu_ui (core), form_decorator (form_decorator).

Configure

The site type's Per-site menus area has one row per menu. A checked menu gets its own links on each site; the Administration, Tools, User account menu and Sites menus stay shared (Menus and terms). Inherited value on a menu's row lets sites show the links of the site they inherit from; with Editable inherited value, each site chooses between its own version and the inherited one (Sites inherit).

A site's people edit its links under Menus in the Structure group of its dashboard, with Administer menus and menu links on the site (Menus).
