Sites content¶
Provides the sites you create in the admin UI and records which sites each content item belongs to. A site type takes these sites through its Content site base plugin; the sites themselves are content, created on each environment. Every item of an assignable type, from articles and media to terms and users, belongs to one or more sites, one of them its origin site: the group's press release belongs to Valtora and shows on Hydrion and Torqline as well. Installing it also installs Sites menu, and Sites taxonomy where Taxonomy is on.
Install¶
Ships with Sites; with that project in the codebase:
drush en sites_content
Requires Sites, dynamic_entity_reference (dynamic_entity_reference).
Configure¶
- Choose Content site as the Base site plugin when you create a site type; it cannot change later.
- The type's Assignable content area decides which content belongs to its sites and to how many at once, its Auto-assigned content area which new content starts on them (Content on sites).
- Editors assign content on its form or from the overviews (Share content between sites). Deleting a site asks what happens to its content (Disable and delete a site).
