Add a speaker portrait

Start with a nested Speaker profile. Enable Media, Media Library and Image, create an Image media type, and upload a portrait media item.

Give Speaker profile a portrait reference

1. Open Structure → Compound fields → Speaker profile → Manage fields.
2. Add Portrait, an entity reference targeting Media, limited to Image and one value.
3. On Manage form display, select Media Library for Portrait and save.
4. Choose its published formatter on Manage display.

Select and save a portrait

1. Edit a Conference. Inside the session's Speaker, open Add media.
2. Select the portrait and choose Insert selected.
3. Save and reopen. Check that the portrait belongs to the intended session.

The compound stores a reference. Removing a session does not delete its reusable media.
