Create and attach a compound

Enable Compound Field and use an account allowed to administer compounds, content types and fields. Choose unused machine names for this example.

Define Conference session

1. Open Structure → Compound fields → Add compound field.
2. Enter Conference session, machine name session, and select Add new compound field.
3. On Manage fields, select Create a new field. Add these plain text string fields:

Label	Machine-name suffix	Allowed number of values
Session title	title	1
Topics	topics	3
Internal note	note	1, optional

Field UI adds the field_ prefix to each suffix.

Attach it to Conference

1. Create a Conference content type.
2. Open Structure → Content types → Conference → Manage fields.
3. Select Create a new field → Compound field → Conference session.
4. Label it Sessions, field name field_sessions, and allow Unlimited values.
5. Save. Each session can now hold up to three topics.

Add conference sessions.
