Views¶
Three Views style plugins from ixm_blocks_views — Grid, Carousel and List — for displaying a live query of site content (news, events, staff, anything node-based) instead of hand-placed items.
These aren't components you place in Canvas. A style plugin only shows up as a Format option when you build a View: create or edit a View in the Views UI, and pick one of the three under Format. Canvas then places the result as a native views block — the same way you'd place any other block.
Loading…Grid is a static, responsive grid of tiles, for listings meant to be scanned rather than swiped. Carousel is a swipeable row — the same Swiper 11 as the Hero Banner's swiper mode. List is a vertical, hairline-divided index, title-forward, for dense listings like events or articles.
Every option lives in the Views UI's style settings — there's nothing to configure in Canvas or in code.

What it doesn't do¶
These plugins control layout only — grid, carousel or list — not what a row actually shows. That comes from the View's own row plugin (a rendered teaser, or Fields), so a news grid and an events grid can already look completely different by using different view modes or field sets, even on the same style.
They also can't mix hand-placed and queried content in one listing — a View is always one query. For a band that mixes a few manually curated items with node references, use one of the catalog's own manually-populated components (Ping Pong, a card carousel) instead.
