Being a Mentoring Coordinator is a long-term commitment. The current mentoring coordinators are looking for people who have demonstrated a long-term commitment to contribution mentoring through activities including:

  • Actively participating in multiple mentoring events.
  • Regularly volunteering for contribution mentoring events and helping to lead parts of those events (for example, helping with communications at an event).
  • Regularly participating at mentoring meta meetings in Drupal Slack.

Mentoring Coordinators consider the overall ways in which we perform contribution mentoring. They bring ideas, skills, and suggested processes to the team.

The list of lead mentoring coordinators in Maintainers.txt is updated periodically.

All participants in MCWG activities are expected to abide by the Drupal Code of Conduct. As per that document, any incidents should be reported to the CWG Incident Form.
